bonnie asked:
I am 14, almost 15, I am 5’4, and I weight about 116 pounds. I never was proud of my body and always thought I was fat. People have often told me that I might become anorexic because I worry so much about my weight. My parents ask me if I’ve been eating lately. I exercise a lot , about 3-4 hours a day and I eat pretty healthy, but not too much. I really dont want to become anorexic, but I dont want to be overweight. I know I’m not anorexic, but I want to stay OFF the path to anorexia. I also know I’m too heavy to be anorexic, but I need some tips to stay away from it. Thanks.
also, am i pretty heavy for my height? Too heavy to even be thinking that i might become anorexic?
PLEASE ANSWER THIS!

i want to know how someone goes from occasionally eating/throwing up to having a serious case of bulimia when she knows and have researched the harmful effects. i’m going through a phase and i want to know how likely it is for me to get lost in it – i believe that right now, i have control.

I have binge eating disorder its gotten completely out of hand and I have gained a lot of weight. My doctor perscribed me zoloft but I’ve been reading all over the place that people GAIN on zoloft I’m wondering if this is because they are eating more as they are less depressed or its something in the chemical makeup of the drug. I’ve also read a few places that it does help control binge eating so people can lose weight? What are your experiences?

I have a friend who recently came out to me that she is bulimic and thinking about becoming anorexic… I know I need to get her some help (quick) but I want to read about the diseases from someone who’s going through it first. So if anyone knows of a pro anorexia or pro bulimia site please let me know. Or a forum that isnt for people trying to recover but more “supporting” the disorder. Thanks for the help!

I’ve been suffering from bulimia for almost a year now. I think I’m capable to quit doing it because I’ve been having horrible heartburns almost every time I eat. I’m really concern now and I want to be cured from this illness. I’m wondering if is it possible to quit if for myself without having to tell anybody about it?

I’ve had an eating disorder for well over a year and I cant get over it. I’m 16 and my parents know about it but they’re not doing anything.I have funny heartbeats and heaps of other symptoms but I don’t trust anyone enough to tell them, and worse what if they don’t believe me. What should I do?
