Anorexia means you see yourself as fat no matter what size you actually are. Because of that you tend to eat very little food and most of that is water based--like celery, grapefruit, lettuce, water, diet soda--and even that you will eat very little of. You exercise like a maniac multiple hours each day so you lose the calories you have eaten. To hide your bony body from others, you tend to wear layers of clothes, hiding yourself behind sweat shirts, sweaters, bulky coats.

The bad part of all this is that you will die of mal nutrition because you are not eating a balanced diet of meat, veggies, fruits, whole grains and low fat milk. You are not getting the protein, carbohydrates or fat; vitamins and minerals that you need to survive. Exercise is good but not to the extent anorexics do.

If this description fits you, Please go see your private doctor who will probably refer you to a nutrition specialist and a psychologist to help you understand why you feel you are fat when you aren't.

Thanks for asking because it is a plea for help. Please get it!!!

whenever you feel like binging just down a whole bottle of water. it fills you up ad is good for you. avoid any carbonated drinks, they make your stomach expand and will make you feel more hungry.

someone who has anorexia does not want to eat anything because they are afraid to gain weight. if they eat anything its probably very little. they try not to be hungry. they feel angry at times and stressed out some faint and feel dizzy because they don't eat.

"Also kudos on being a vegetarian...i plan on being one too, once i move out of my parents house, cuz otherwise its just not practical being a vegetarian living at my house...though i'm 24 so technically i should move out soon." Eh whatever. Being over the age of 20 and living with your parents is socially unacceptable for GOD knows why. Free living (especially if your parents are awesome) is not something I think most people would pass up. AND often times the parents enjoy it. Normally! :P

yeah no joke, if your body is so pissed off it doesn't even want it's hair any more there's something very wrong.
You can't see the signs here?
What the hell good does anerexia do anyway? doesn't it hurt to fast? What about all the great experiences your missing out on without eating great food? You only get so many meals you know.
Besides, a girl with a little definition even with a little extra gravy beats an anorexic any day in my book.

I have it - it doesn't worry me that much as it's only a temporary things and because of that I'm not losing too much weight. :)

It's when you intentionally miss meals to lose weight (I miss breakfast and sometimes lunch) and have an obsession with exercising. They also don't eat sugar or fatty foods when they DO eat (I eat lots of sweet foods - it's probably why I don't lose much weight) and therefore enhance the curves of their skeletons.

Your binge eating could be because you are lacking something in your diet.

You could be ovulating (even though you don't have a period) and at that time of the month many women tend to binge... mostly on chocolate though. And yes, being underweight could make your body crave foods you don't normally eat.

You could be under a bit of stress, and for many of us, eating is way way to ease the tension...even if it is not a great deal of stress.

Depending on your age you could be having a hormone surge. That is the excuse I use when I binge eat.

Sometimes being sad or mad can trigger it. Although you do not sound depressed, mad or sad.

There are probably many more plausible reasons. I suggest get the binging out of your system, then force yourself to get your eating urges under control. You may gain a pound or 2, but it sounds like you normally eat healthy which should help you lose those measly few ounces you gain.

I hope this helps. Don't worry, your system should get back to normal in a day or two....or three or four. Good Luck.
