Sammie asked:
I am obsessed with calories and healthy eating. I exercize everyday for 30 minutes–running. If i eat too much i eat very little the next day and i fall asleep feeling bad about myself. I am not overweight and i am not underweight either. I always make sure i am not eating too many calories and getting enough fruits/veggies a day. I don’t know.. could i have an eating disorder?

just chill and be happy that you’re healthy
No, you’re just a very healthy person. Just don’t feel bad about eating bad, the only thing you can do about it is excerise a bit more.
If you think it’s possible, you probably do!!!
Go to your doctor and ask for a mental health referral. Eating disorders can’t be handled by yourself.
u might have self consious anorexia.
ya thats not a healthy way to live. the things you eat may be healthy but youre too ocd about it…. its crazy to me.. exercise anorexia is a type of ano
i don’t think you have an eating disorder because people who do never think they have a problem. You know what you’re doing and it’s just a healthy lifestyle you chose.
i don’t think its an eating disorder, but i think it could lead to one. you are just having OCD and being a little obsessive..
breathe in and out, realx and let go.
have fun with your life without worrying about what you eat.!
no you dont ! your doing everything right! if you eat to much one day and cut back the next thats perfect! its one way to make sure u dont gain weight! keep it up your doing good!
well if u eat healthy and u excercise regularly then stop obsessing over ur weight. if u notice u gain a couple pounds then u can excercise a little more the next day
nope, your body is just evening yourself out becuase its used to how much your eating so it dosent eat when you ate alot and it eats alot when you ate a little, kinda like
when you go to bed at the same time over and over again you start to get sleepy when your close to your average bed time.
thats exactly how i am. i dont think its an eating disorder, i just think its a bit obsessive(on my part too)
but you shouldnt be worrying that much, because you are not overweight, so you really shouldnt worry about counting calories. just make sure you eat in moderation. its ok to look at the label! but dont sit there and try and work out how many you need to not eat the next day. just try and go and run it off! its much healthier to excercis it off, then to starve it off =D
The fact that you feel BAD about yourself at night says that you certainly are on your way to an eating disorder.
Instead of freaking out about calories, realize that they are fuel. You wouldn’t try to drive your car across the country on just 1/4 tank of fuel, would you? So why freak out and cut your body’s fuel but still expect it to perform the same way? Your body is a machine, food is its fuel. Do this right, or you’ll end up in the hospital.
No. You do not have any disorder of any kind. Please keep it up.
It is very healthy. But just know that if you do not eat more once in a while(it is called get it out of the system) you will then go on binge and will not be able to stop so what you are doing is what all of us should do.
It’s a healthy living thing. No disorder!!Knowing your calories and foods I wouldn’t call an obsession, but knowing what you are putting into your body!! Don’t be so hard on your self if you had a little more you are on the right tract to taking care of your health.
I think maybe you could have the starting of an eating disorder.
That’s similar to how mine started. Tell someone about what you’re worried about. Trust me, you can’t handle it by yourself. I tried, and it doesn’t work.
You don’t even have to get a referral to a psychologist or anything like that. If you and your parents get along, you can just talk to both or just one of them. Trust me, if you have a good relationship with even just one of them, talking it out can make a world of difference.
Good luck!
