I have a friend who recently came out to me that she is bulimic and thinking about becoming anorexic… I know I need to get her some help (quick) but I want to read about the diseases from someone who’s going through it first. So if anyone knows of a pro anorexia or pro bulimia site please let me know. Or a forum that isnt for people trying to recover but more “supporting” the disorder. Thanks for the help!

I hope that you can help your friend. I hope that your friend knows that nothing is worth killing herself for something so superficial and vain. Its a serious disease and it takes a lot of help.
Here is a majorly SICK and SAD site that supports anorexics and bullimics. They refer to them selves as ‘Anna and Mia’s’ once you visit the site you will see how warped the disease is on their minds.
There are, unfortunately, pro ana and pro bulimia sites out there. I would not give those to you on an open forum, though. It’s kind of like promoting them, and the folks who suffer from those disorders don’t need any encouragement to continue destroying themselves. You won’t find ammo to argue against it at any of those sites. I wouldn’t provide porno addresses for somebody trying to overcome a porno addiction, so I can’t in good conscience provide you with this kind either. If you want to honestly help your friend, then tell her family and encourage her to get help. There is no supporting the disorder, there is only supporting getting recovered.
Why a pro site? Geez I hope there is none out there. Why would you want to be skinny for? You start looking all … ‘skelital’ after a while. Tell her she’ll get wrinkles and dark eyes, and her hair will fall out if she takes this path. Then her growth will be stunted, and to be tall, she needs to eat healthy food. Most guys find this actually quite repulsive and unattractive if she’s doing this to attract men.
