Yeah..it’s attention seeking to see yourself in a video…and to identify with it, and just to say, “I have that.” Right…

I agree with you completely! Keep doing what you’re doing, it really matters.

People like you are the reason eating disorders are prevalent. I’m not fat. I”m actually really happy in my own skin. And who are you to pass Judgment on something like that?

  7. By Tehl33tcorpse on Jun 3, 2009 | Reply

Do you really? Since you dont even know the name of the eating disorder in this video, you obviously dont so stop attention seaking.

Read Explaining colours to a blind man. Not only will it enlighten many as to what living with a mental illness is like, it also gives comfort to those sufferers who think there is no hope and that they are alone. It is very informative, sometimes shocking but also very funny in parts. All in all, a good read and highly recommended.

Wrong. Not everyone who has an eating disorder is skinny. It could be affecting the 90 pound girl in your scince class, or the 200 pound guy you see at the mall. Just because someone isn’t skinny doesn’t mean that they aren’t suffering. Get your facts straight.

It doesn’t matter if this video is real or a re-enactment. The message is very clear. So stop judging the video and maybe, just maybe you’ll get the message.

    oh wow
    it’s a lifestyle? I didn’t chose to live with ED-NOS.

Uh, you probably meant well but this is really, really fake.

Im sorry to hear that you suffer from this horrible illness, but I don’t agree with your statement about the girl in the video. I know this from personal experience too (unfortunately). I had anorexia but sometimes I did what this girl does – so it wasn’t a routine for me – and I wasn’t able to cope with it so I cried (hysterically) and hated myself for being such a failure…so please don’t say it is not real, because it is.

I mean ISN’T going to cry every single time*

  23. By Purifiedlife on Jul 2, 2009 | Reply

I’m not right? You’re telling a bulimic they are wrong about bulimia? I know a lot of people with EDs from support groups. Over time it becomes as normal as going to the bathroom, but I’m not saying it makes it any easier to deal with. But a person doing it for years is going to cry every single time. They would end up crying on the floor multiple times a day… doesn’t happen.

  24. By michaelaplchutova on Jul 4, 2009 | Reply

You are not right. The girls don’t want to binge and hate themselves for throwing up, so many of them cry almost every time they do it, because they feel disappointed with themselves.
