Over time it becomes as normal as going to the bathroom, but I'm not saying it makes it any easier to deal with. But a person doing it for years is going to cry every single time. I know this from personal experience too (unfortunately). I had anorexia but sometimes I did what this girl does - so it wasn't a routine for me - and I wasn't able to cope with it so I cried (hysterically) and hated myself for being such a failure...so please don't say it is not real, because it is.
