Get the book "Overcoming Overeating" by Geneen Roth. It talks about exactly this problem. Trust me, you're not the only one in this world who's going through this. I was there once. I'm glad I'm out of it now. But it was a long, difficult process. But it's possible. And you can make it easier for you. Do yourself a favour and get yourself the book. You will uncover ways to help yourself.

Stress does cause people to overeat. It's easy to say, but try doing some yoga or calisthenics when you want to reach for something to eat. Or, ask your mom to keep chopped veggies in the fridge and snack on those. Another thing to try is see if there is a local chapter of Overeater's Anonymous in your area. They can really help you.

Good luck!

it's normal to eat because of stress. compulsive over eating is really common. i'm guessing you don't wanna see a therapist or anything like that, but if you don't mind and it's a viable option it would be a good idea.

alternatively, you just need to get in touch with your feelings. you probably eat to hide them (i know i used to, and still do sometimes). it helps to start journaling or doing some kind of creative project (music, drawng, painting, filmmaking, whatever). it also helps to work out. cardio lowers stress, regulates appetite, and will burn off some of those extra calories.

everyone gets stressed but it's important to find a good way to work on your stress. there are lots of negative ways (like drugs and sex) that will **** you over in the long run. starting healthy habits will save you a lot of trouble. especially in college, in the face of much temptation.

go for walks. they're calming and keep you away from food. also try eating fruits or veggies when you really wanna munch. that way you can satisfy your oral desire without too many calories.

Speak to your doctor. He / She can help you with this situation. and yes sometimes people eat when they are stressed and High School is hard. Give yourself a gift and get a physical. Doctors are there for you.

Well, yes, stress causes you to eat. But that doesn't sound like an eating disorder at all. You need to talk to your doctor. Never feeling satisfied could be a medical thing. Are you gaining or losing weight? If you're losing, get to the doctor tomorrow.
