Since late November, I’ve been eating about 500-800 calories a day. I noticed that my hair has really started to thin out in the front and it seems like I am shedding a lot of hair.

I was under the impression that hair loss only occured in severe cases of anorexia, though. And I have gone for way longer eating way less and never had any problems with hair loss.
Anyways, what should I expect to happen? Is it going to keep falling out?

It is different person to person but your hair loss results from a lack of proper nutrition, vitamins and minerals that your body desperately needs from food. A daily calorie intake of 500-800 is not enough and your hair loss will only get worse the longer you deprive yourself of proper nutrition.
Hair loss is the least of your problems with anorexia. it can cause you to have heart failure.
yeah no joke, if your body is so pissed off it doesn’t even want it’s hair any more there’s something very wrong.
You can’t see the signs here?
What the hell good does anerexia do anyway? doesn’t it hurt to fast? What about all the great experiences your missing out on without eating great food? You only get so many meals you know.
Besides, a girl with a little definition even with a little extra gravy beats an anorexic any day in my book.
