there are pills you can take but you really need to be determined to get over you problem
Well, what emotions are you eating over? What feelings are you trying to push down with food?
Eating fruit as a substitute is one good way to wean yourself off of an addiction to sugar.
When you have a snack, pour a little of what you’re eating into a bowl and go into another room or outside. You have an urge to have more but do what you can to not. And if you’re still hungry (or think you’re still hungry) have a glass of water. Try your best to eat healthier and if you have to scare yourself into the consequences of too much junk, getting fat, bad health ect.
Well you could go to a Dietrist about what you can do or you can take some pills that you get at your regular grocery store. Or you can go to a counselor to see if your eating junk food because you are in a stressful moment.
Where are you getting all this food to binge on? Is it all in the house? If you live along…get rid of it. ALL of the junk food. Throw it out, then go to the store and replace it with healthy snacks/food.
If you’re going out to eat constantly, think of all the money you’re spending on binging. And gas money to drive around to satiate your appetite. How much would you have saved if you hadn’t eaten crappy junk food all those days?
You CAN stop eating junk food. You are not a robot programmed to eat it. There is a moment, right before you take a bite, where you can decide whether or not to actually take that bite. It’s all a matter of willpower. Stop telling yourself you can’t.
Change because you want to. Change because you want to be healthy. Imagine what would happen if you just continued to binge everyday for the rest of your life…think of the consequences. You’re stronger than you think you are, and you CAN stop! Stop trying and start doing.
I recomend you start by drawing up a spider diagram listing all of the reasons why you don’t want to binge eat.
I would then draw up a menu plan of the things you are going to eat. Get the food in in advance so you don’t end up in the position where you’ve got to decide what to eat on the day – this is the worst time for temptation! Also, get rid of the junk out the house. If you have to go out and get it, it’ll be more of a deterent.
Finally, plan a junk food day once a week. Go out to KFC or whatever takes your fancy. Not a junk food binge, just a junk food day. You will end up binging if you completely cut out of your life completely something that you like. On that day, take someone along with you so that they can help you keep yourself in check.
After a while, take that once-a-week down to once a fortnight. then once a month.
