Everything you said in this vid is so true. What i really hated was my stomach, but of course making myself throw up make my stomach permanently bloated and fat looking, which i didn’t know at the time, i just thought i was useless and had no control..

i have a bulimia (until now) too but not too extreme and no body know even my sister who live with me at the same house

sometimes i just can’t resist to throw up what i eat if i think about my weight and my body image…. so sad but that’s true

lol the “never again” part is so true.

first time i made myself throw up i swore it would be the only time and i’d never do it again.. that was 3 years ago and im still saying “this is the last time”..

you are right, but biologically speaking it does similar things, it gives you the same rush (medical fact)

I am and addict and alcoholic as well…. and for me bulimia is so much harder to fight

give it some time and you wont love it.

When your body stops functioning the way it’s suppose to, when you have to go to the hospital and get fluids because your electrolytes are so messed up you could have a heart attack at anytime….

tell me how much you love it then…. I use to say I loved it too, but not anymore, it has taken away all the good things in my life

  21. By sarahnotenough on Feb 9, 2010 | Reply

actually there is a type of bulimia where people don’t throw up, they over exercise which can be just as dangerous

That is a sad reality, I have been in treatment with men, and it is a very unfair stigma that girls are the only ones with ED’s

This video doesn’t show men, because it was all about my struggle and I am a women

It depends on the person… Some people can honestly see what they look like, others the image is distorted.

For me it doesn’t matter what my weight is when ever I look into the mirror all I see is a fat person, even though I am at the lower end of a healthy weight

People with eating disorders do eat, but you are right if they don’t get treatment they will die, eating disorders have the highest death toll of any mental illness

There are many reasons why people have eating disorders (for example “to feel control” “to numb out feelings” :depression” “anxiety”

I would like to point out though that I am an adult I don’t live with my parents so they don’t make me eat

NO!!! Bulimia has ruined my life I barely have a relationship with family, I have lost most of my friends, my body is so messed up (GERD, gastroparesis, heart problems, chronic constipation theres a few problems but there are more)

Bulimia IS NOT a diet to lose weight it is serious life threatening mental disorder

if you need to lose weight go to a dietitian or nutritionist and get a meal plan, then you can be healthy and happy and actually have a life.. bulimia will take everything from you
