I’d like to know what sort of damages bulimia can cause if anyone knows. Also, if anyone knows, can your body heal from it? Can your teeth heal from it? Can your teeth grow back enamel? If anyone could answer me these questions it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advanced.

No, your teeth can’t grow back enamel and you can have ulcerations of the throat leading to bleeding into the throat and possibly into the esophagus and lungs (leading to a quick death of drowning in your own blood..YUK!! ).
Not only your teeth can fail early, your gum line also can. Because of acid from your digestive system, everything that it passes will be deteriorate. Your gum line will be weaken and your teeth will be more loosen and eventually fall off.
Those things don’t matter anyway because Bulimia causes early death by cutting your life by half.
It does eat away at your esophagus, it weakens your stomach, acid eats away at everything in your mouth. You constantly have horrible breath, after a while with no *** reflex you can’t stop purging when you eat. Most common cause of death is malnutrition and heart failure. Your organs shut down.
You can heal from a bad case of bulimia, but not completely. You will always have a weak heart, nasty mouth, throat, lungs, stomach and your organs will never be the same. You can get to a healthy weight after but your life span may be much shorter.
* Cessation of menstruation
* Slowing down of metabolism
* Memory loss
* Poor concentration
* Weakened heart muscle
* Irregular heart beats
* Kidney damage
* Damaged tooth enamel
* Osteoporosis
* Dry and acne ridden skin
* Weakened immune system
* Swollen cheeks and neck
* Increased likelihood of miscarriage during pregnancy
Oh yes and I forgot to mention, it can kill you – it has been known for the stomach to rupture during purging.
Your body can recover from a lot of the damage – it isn’t so much the starvation that causes the problems, its the purging and over exercising when the body has insufficient nutrients which can cause complications.
And your teeth cannot heal to any meaningful extent – you’ll need to see the dentist.
Hope this helps.

Bulimia can cause a number of problems. Your teeth can’t grow enamel, so once it’s gone, it’s gone. Your teeth may not be able to heal from it, you would have to visit a dentist. Other things bulimia can cause are irregular heartbeat, ulcers, gum disease, rotting teeth, ruptured esophagus or stomach, abdominal pain and bloating, headaches, dizziness, sore throat, broken blood vessels in the eyes, swollen cheeks, acid reflux, weakness, constipation, and a lot of digestive problems. You’re also at a great risk of heart attacks or kidney failure.
It messes with your electrolytes. That means not only can you pass out, but your heart can stop beating at time. (There’s so many stories of this happening!) Oh, an even scarier story I saw (with gruesome pictures) was about a girl whose stomach ripped and burst while she was purging. They found her dead by the toilet! As for teeth and esophagus, stomach acid can dissolve razorblades! Imagine what it slowly does to the body. You eventually get holes in the thin flap that separates the esophagus and lungs and start getting food in your lungs. This disease is terrible!
