What is healthier in the long run? Life long obesity, or near anorexia for a few weeks?

The main question basically sums it up. Should I go on an extreme diet that is near anorexia, or stay fat? They treat anorexia as a major taboo, but seriously when do things get to the point where the wolf is better off chewing its arm off than to stay in a trap?

    No need for the extreme diet. Just replace the unhealthy food with a healthy diet and introduce exercise into your life and you will lose weight in a healthy manner.

    Can I just point out that these are 2 extremes and there’s no reason to do either. Why not do a healthy diet? Aim for 1500 calories a day and you WILL get there. Obviously it will be slower than a crash diet but that’s not a bad thing. It means you’re more likely to keep the weight off. It’s just a question of dedication and motivation. Keep at it and you can’t go wrong. X

    don’t do either, go to my profile n email me, we can keep in touch, u need to run distance with a 2000 calorie diet, few miles a day. If u starve now u’l end up fatter than u r in future. trust me!!!! ur metabolisms gona get screwd up

    PLz just dont even go near being anorexic. I have just recovered and theres no point really. U just putting ur life at risk and having a short 1. U will definetly have several problems. PLz trust me. But i also dont want u to get obese. Why dontu just stay in the middle. Eat healthy and do lots of exercise. Cut down on fatty foods.

    I think finding a middle ground would be better… but to answer your question, I’d chose anorexia because even though that’s a mental disease, I think it’s easier to get out of. You can always have people help you get better and give you food and stuff, but with being obese, you need to stop eating, so you could always sneak it and stuff. Idk. That’s what I think. They both damage your body in different ways though, so it’s hard to answer.
