Question by Bob: What problems does some one with bulimia face?
A person close to me is severely bulimic. This has been going on for most of her life. She binges and purges almost daily, sometimes more than once a day. What kind of problems is she looking at for the short term and what kind of long term problems is she facing? Does anyone know of any treatment for bulimia? Please help.

erosion of the esophagus, wearing away of the enamel on the teeth (both due to the acid coming from the stomach), dehydration
